Christmas Magic

A Photography Recipe Card to create magical looking photos and memories in front of the Christmas Tree.

Ingredients

• DSLR Camera
• 35mm f/1.8 Lens
• Tripod
• Decorated Christmas Tree
• Christmas Book
• Phone or Ipad

Directions

Bake At: 1/10  f/1.8 1600 ISO Manual

Place subjects a foot or two in front of the Christmas tree sitting on the floor and facing the camera. Have subjects hold a book as though they are reading it and place an illuminated phone, tablet, or flashlight in the middle of the book to illuminate your subjects faces. Once you have a photo you like, open it up in Photoshop and follow this tutorial on creating magical glows in your photo. This tutorial includes the glow and sparkles for purchase. Optionally, you can add some word art to your photo. Shoot, Edit, & Enjoy!
