Cupcake Doll – Pattern Testers Needed

Cupcake Doll - Crochet PatternI have had this idea in my head for several months now, but I was intimidated to bring it to life because I wasn’t sure I would be able to design it the way I had pictured in my head. I finally sat down to work on it, and it came together so easily. And I am so happy with how it turned out!

If you happen to be a child of the 90s, like I was, then perhaps this doll will bring back some familiarity. They were a series of dolls with plastic skirts which when turned inside out transformed into edible goodies with their hats becoming the icing. They were also scented. I thought wouldn’t they be cute and fun in crochet, too!

***CLOSED***
Testers have been chosen. Thank you everyone for your interest!

So here’s the deal, this pattern will be a paid pattern in my Ravelry and Craftsy stores. Therefore, I need it tested before making it available for sale. This is my first actual paid pattern and first time working with testers, so bear with me. I made a doll from this pattern in a day. It took most of the day with a few distractions, including running to the store. The hair takes the longest, but overall, it’s a fairly easy and small pattern to work through. She isn’t super huge at only 6 ½”. I would like this pattern tested and back to me by Saturday, February 6th, 2016. Experience with amigurumi is a must for this pattern! Additional, general requirements for being a tester for my patterns can be found here.

If you have an interest in being a tester, please email me at mycreativeblog1@gmail.com with the name of the pattern you would like to test, in this case, The Cupcake Doll. Please include your full name, your level of crochet experience, years of experience crocheting, and a little about your crochet experience, a few photo examples of your work, and/or a link to your crochet facebook page, if you have one, and anything else you’d like to tell me that would make you a good candidate as a tester. For this pattern, please confirm that you have experience with amigurumi crochet patterns.
